Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Munster Kart club Ltd will be held on Tuesday 16th September 2008 at the Vienna Woods Hotel at 20.00hrs.

Agenda

1, To receive and consider the Directors report
2, To receive and consider the income and expenditure account balance sheets.
3, To appoint auditors
4, To vote on entrance fees and annual subscriptions.
5, To elect directors of the club.
6, To consider and discuss any other business.

Tillotson HL392A Cadet Carburettors...

Hi all,

Just a note to thank you all for your support for the change we introduced last weekend, with the new Tillotson HL 392A carburettor.

The reliability shown by the new product brought smiles back to all in the cadet class. On your behalf I would particularly like to thank John Mason of Tillotson and Donie Daly of the MI kart race committee for there hard work and efforts in making the change from Tryton to Tillotson. I would also like to recognise the support provided by the members of the Motorsport Ireland Commission who approved the change at short notice.

To reconfirm the announcement made on Saturday, spares including additional Carburettors, repair kits etc, and are only available from the Tillotson website. MI will not be supplying carburettors at future events. Competitors can purchase carburettors and inline fuel filters from the Tillotson website. http://tillotson-racing.com.

SOUTHERN KARTING CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZE GIVING ...





Due to the cancellation of the prizegiving last year we will now be presenting the SKC Championship awards on Saturday 29th March (the weekend of the race meeting) in the Shannon Oaks Hotel, Portumna at 8pm. Any prizes not collected will be available to collect on the Sunday at the race..

SOUTHERN KARTING CLUB WEBSITE LAUNCH AND SHOW ...





Thanks to all those who attended this event on Tuesday. It was a great success with lots of new interest in Karting, particularly the Cadet class, which is excellent. We had 7 karts on display and several videos showing some of last years races. Also, the Galway Independent took photos for an article in this weeks paper, so that will also help increase awareness of the sport. Thanks to everyone who helped on the evening, it was much appreciated and we couldn't have done it without you.
